Thanks for your interest in an Undergraduate Peer Learning Assistant (PLA) Position for Econom 1014, 1015 or 3229.

Candidates: Economics majors who have completed at least Econom 4351 and 4353 and have a GPA of 3.3 overall or 3.5 in Economics courses.  Students who have not yet taken Econom 4351 and 4353 may also be considered if they have demonstrated superior performance in the Economics courses they have taken. Submission of this application is required for initial placement.

Duties include: leading a discussion/lab session, managing grade book, answering student questions, holding office hours, assisting professor with class, etc.
